Wanaheda woman shot

STAFF REPORTER

HELENA Kamati (20) was shot and killed by unknown suspects in Ongava Street, Wanaheda, on Tuesday evening, the Police reported yesterday.

She died on the scene.

The Police investigation continues.

* Six-month-old Oscar Mwitina burnt to death in his mother's shack at Okahandja's Five Rand location on August 1.

The child died on August 8 in the Okahandja Hospital.

* During lunchtime on Tuesday, three suspects driving a green Jetta broke into two vehicles in Dan Bekker Street in Olympia.

The City Police pursued and fired shots at them.

One of the suspects was wounded in the right leg and all three were arrested.

* Windhoek resident Eric Kletus Ndeyamwene was robbed at gunpoint in Khomasdal on August 8.

Items valued at N$830 were stolen.
