Yes BBA nation, Big Brother Africa is back! Twelve housemates, 12 countries, 91 days.At stake: US$100 000.
And the doors to the house for Season 3 open on Sunday.
This Sunday.
Hope you've been banking some sleep and saving up for your SMS messages and votes! The show is returning by popular demand after last year's gripping season, which at times provided explosive viewing as housemates were torn between their love of the Lord and the dictates of their loins.
Adding to the mix, of course, was ultimate winner Richard's tug-of-war with his wedding vows, as his gaze lingered alternately on his wedding ring and gazelle-like Angolan housemate Tatiana.
At the beginning anyway.
Eventually it was no contest.
Tatiana became Richard's sun, moon and stars, his alpha and omega, a passion that scaled the heights of Mt Kilimanjaro.
For tens of thousands of viewers it was a perfect love.
Tens of thousands of others saw it as the ultimate betrayal.
Bitter battles were fought on BBA discussion sites.
Eish!! Then there were Lerato and Max, Code and Maureen; Code and his guitar, Maureen and her hotwater bottle; Justice and his romance with debates, Jeff and his exercise makeouts, Ofunneka and the couch.
And, of course, Kwaku and Meryl and Kwaku and Bertha, and Kwaku and Meryl and Bertha.
It was a rollercoaster of reality and unreality, romance and rage, penthouse passions, love and betrayal.
NAMIBIA? Already the phone calls are starting.
Namibians either want to know who our housemate is going to be, or are clinging to the hope that somehow Tanzania's Richard and Tatiana have ridden off into the sunset on a white horse and found everlasting love.
Not happening.
At least according to the reports swirling 'out there'.
Richard is still with his Canadian wife, Rickie, while Tatiana is said to have been modelling in South Africa.
There's also been talk of a guest appearance on the South African television drama 'Jacob's Cross'.
I don't know who our housemate is going to be.
Truly.
Rumour has it that it's a young man this time.
But it's only a rumour.
So you're going to have to hang on for a few more days!! Stay tuned.
