Woman charged with rape

THE Police at Okatope in the Oshikoto Region are investigating a rape charge against a 20-year-old woman.

Toini Nambata from Omatyatya village has been charged with the alleged rape of a nine-year-old boy from the same village.

She was arrested on October 14 and appeared in the Ondangwa Magistrate's Court last Monday.

She was not asked to plead and was remanded in custody until her next court appearance on November 29.
