Atheism is not a religion.

The Australian Concise Dictionary defines religion as such: "1.

particular system of faith and worship 2.

human recognition of superhuman controlling power esp.

of a personal God or gods entitled to obedience and worship".

On the Home Page of the Atheist Foundation of Australia Inc website, the definition of Atheism is such: "is the acceptance that there is no credible evidence for the existence of a god, gods or the supernatural".

Religions contend there is a supernatural realm whilst Atheists have their feet firmly planted in the natural world.
