IGCSE results to be released on Friday

THE International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) results will be out on Friday, the Ministry announced yesterday.

Director of National Examinations and Assessment Cowley van der Merwe said the results will be available on the directorate's website (http://www.dnea.gov.na) from 08h00 on Friday morning.

The results will also be available at regional offices and schools.

Schools will provide the pupils with their results sheets, while the regional offices will display the results in broadsheet format at their offices.

A combined figure of 30 034 full-time and part-time Grade 12 candidates entered for exams last year.

Half of them were full-time students and most of the others studied through the Namibian College of Open Learning (Namcol).
