Wednesday, January 25, 2006 - Web posted at 7:02:26 GMT Teenager accused of killing brother * OSWALD SHIVUTE at OSHAKATITHE Police in Oshakati are investigating a case in which a 14-year-old boy allegedly stabbed his 15-year-old brother at the Kandjengedi informal settlement over the past weekend. |
|
The Regional Police Commander, Deputy Commissioner Josef Anghuwo, says the two brothers had a quarrel at their parents' home. The older boy, Nande Jonas, was chasing his brother when the latter grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the chest. Jonas died in the Oshakati State Hospital before doctors could attend to him. Some sources told The Namibian that Jonas was stabbed in a nearby church, where his younger brother ran while Jonas was chasing him. |
