Cop in court for murder

GOBABIS - A Police recruit, who completed his Police training last year, made a second appearance in the Gobabis Magistrate's Court this week to answer to a charge of murder.

Magistrate Johannes Shuuveni postponed the case to March 30 for further investigation.

The State alleges that 25-year-old Engelhard Cito hit 17-year-old Gabriel Karuhumba with a brick on the forehead on November 5 at the Onguno Bottle Store in the Epako location at Gobabis.

Karuhumba later died in the Windhoek Central State Hospital.

Cito is out on bail of N$2 500.
