Oshakati mortuary overflowing

THE Oshakati Police says there are several unclaimed bodies at the town's mortuary that will receive pauper's burials if relatives do not claim them.

Police spokesperson Constable Christina Fonsech has made an urgent appeal to the relatives of the following deceased people to come forward: * Paulina Luisa, an Angolan national, died at the Oshifo informal settlement at Ruacana on April 24 last year; * The baby of Nangula Natali died at Oshidute village in the Ohangwena Region on September 23 last year; * The baby of Elizabeth Aluteni from Omutakugwakaupa in the Omusati Region died on September 5 last year; and * A Zimbabwean national, Tirivangani Jukuta, died at Kamanjab in the Kunene Region on November 18 last year.
