Elderly woman dies in hit-and-run accident

* STAFF REPORTER

POLICE are investigating a case of culpable homicide at Okahao after a 69-year-old woman died at the scene of a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday.

Loide Angula was hit by a car at Olukume village, after which the perpetrator reportedly drove away from the scene.

The suspect is yet to be arrested.

* An eight-year-old boy drowned in a well at Outapi on Wednesday.

The body of the boy, Matti Namulo, was retrieved on the same day, the Police reported on Friday.
