Question To NBC

I WOULD like to ask a few questions regarding the TV licence that we are paying.

If the money we pay is to render better services to the people, does it also include paying for relaxation of NBC staff? I am aware that staff go out to look for news and programmes, but do they also do that for 24 hours a day, seven days a week? Does it include braais, nightclubs and parties as late as three o'clock in the morning? Does it include overcrowded NBC cars full of women who are smiling ear to ear as they revel in the opportunity to be sitting in the NBC vehicles: If that is what our tax and licence money is being used for, why should I, an unemployed person, pay for the recreation time of working NBC staff? This is what is happening in our regional towns (not only Windhoek) where NBC staff are operating.

What is going on? Is this not corruption?
