Court postpones hate-poster case

STAFF REPORTER

TWO of the suspects who displayed a placard with hate speech during a demonstration last year have made another appearance in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court.

Metusalem Matundu and Gerson Ndjavera are charged with contravention of a law passed in 1991 which prohibits racial discrimination.

They are accused of waving several posters with the slogan 'Kill all Whites' a year ago while taking part in a protest march of a Herero group in Windhoek's Independence Avenue.

The case has been postponed to November 2.
