Jolie, Pitt 'want baby born in Namibia

' CELEBRITIES Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt plan to have their baby in Namibia and even give it a local name, according to the Governor of the Erongo Region, Samuel Nuuyoma.

Nuuyoma had breakfast on Friday with the couple, who are staying with their adopted children at a guest lodge on the beach front between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay.

"They are having the baby here, and they talked about giving the child a Namibian name," Nuuyoma was quoted as telling a reporter at the coast.

The Governor said Jolie had made the choice because "she loves Namibia".

Yesterday, The Sunday Times in South Africa reported that Pitt had managed to evade the paparazzi and go quad biking in the desert dunes and rode his Ducati motorbike along the trans-Kalahari highway.

Nuuyoma said he wanted his guests to feel "at home and free".

"Namibia is a country where everyone has the right to freedom of movement, and they must not feel inhibited when they visit this beautiful country of ours," he was quoted as saying.
