2 jailed in robbery case

THE Oshakati Regional Court has sentenced two men to jail terms of 10 and 15 years for armed robbery.

Reinhold Shetunyenga Shinyama and Teofelus Endeleleni were found guilty of armed robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition last Friday.

Shinyama was sentenced to 12 years on the charge of armed robbery, two years for the illegal firearm and one year for the illegal possession of ammunition.

Endeleleni was sentenced to 10 years in jail on the armed robbery charge.

They robbed a cuca shop at Eendungu near Oshakati on June 19 last year.
