The Police say 13-year-old Eliaser Natangwe Kandiwapa drowned while playing in the pond with his friends. Three children have drowned in the Ruacana/Oshakati canal in the same region since the beginning of the year. The canal claimed 14 lives last year. Police in the Omusati Region have warned people not to dry to drink water from the canal, and to make sure that children do not play near it. - Nampa |
