Five held for armed robbery

EENHANA - Five young men have been arrested in Oshakati in connection with an armed robbery at the Mykanos Bottle Store at Okambebe village on Monday last week.

Police Commander for Ohangwena Region, Deputy Commissioner Armas Shivute, identified the suspects as Enos Kambwali (24), Tomas Ngwali (24), Hosea Shidiwe (22), Victor Kondjamu (24), and Abiater Nyamu (19).

They are accused of stealing N$20 000 in cash, and liquor worth about N$2 422.

The N$20 000 and some of the liquor have been recovered.
