It ends at 15h30 the same day. This year's tournament will be the biggest yet as far as sponsorship is concerned. ICEIDA (the Icelandic International Development Agency) is the main sponsor and Namibian Beverages (Coca-Cola) is the co-sponsor. Up to 15 prizes can be won at this tournament. The overall winner will walk away with N$1 500 and another prize to be sponsored by the Coca Cola, while the runner-up will receive N$800. The player who finishes third stands to pocket N$500, and the prize money for fourth place is N$300. There will be ten lucky-draw prizes worth N$50 each. Last year, the event attracted 50 participants from across Namibia, as well as several foreign players. According to organiser Charles Eichab, who won the event last year against an Italian player, more entrants are expected this time around. The entrance fee is N$15 for scholars and N$30 for adults.
