Moller covered the gruelling event, which consisted of a 1,9km swim, a 90km cycle and a 21km run in a total time of four hours 29 minutes and one second. |

In hot weather at the coast, Moller was quite a distance behind the leaders over the first 1,9km swim leg. She however soon took the lead on the cycle leg and held it till the end to finish more than six minutes ahead of Watze Hepkema who won the Senior Men's category in 4:35:41. The next two athletes to finish were Andrew Rowles (4:51:36) and Philip Steyn (4:55:22), while Bobby Jo Bassingthwaighte (5:06:30) and Charmaine Shannon (5:23:29) finished second and third respectively in the Senior Women's category. Kai Uwe won the Veteran Men's category in 5:05:43, followed by JC Faul (5:15:54) and Lloyd Camp (5:18:18), while Elke Jagau won the Veteran Women's category in 5:41:36, followed by Claire van Aardt (6:00:41). Johan van Niekerk won the Masters Men's category in 5:12:53, with Willie Greeff coming second (5:15:43). The team competition was won by the Sport Trophy World A team consisting of swimmer Paul Brinkmann, cyclist Ananias Ananias and marathon runner Reinhold Iita. Their winning time was 3:54:32, well ahead of the second-placed Supersport team who finished in 4:07:56. The Sport Trophy World B team came third in 4:21:34. A total of 61 athletes entered the Swakopmund Ultra Triathlon. |
