Team manager Lesley Kozonguizi yesterday explained that the loss to Madagascar was because Namibia only had seven players on the field in the last ten minutes of the game.

The substitutions were all used.

He said three key players were injured, while a fourth, Ivan Makina, was sent off.

He said Namibia only trailed 2-0 at half-time, but goals started pouring in during the last 15 minutes of the game due to the gaps in certain positions.
