Police say the wall succumbed to the force of a strong wind. Three other people escaped with minor injuries. * In Windhoek, a man was stabbed to death during a quarrel on Saturday evening. A suspect has been arrested. * A two-year-old boy, Andreas Awala, died on Sunday evening after the hut he was sleeping in caught fire. Two other children escaped unhurt. * Groceries to the value of N$2 970 were stolen from an Outapi cuca shop on Saturday night. Unknown suspects broke into the shop. In addition to the money, they made off with a cellphone worth N$800 and 20 recharge vouchers. * A pedestrian at Ohangwena died after being rushed to the Engela Hospital in the early hours of Tuesday. Johannes Jafet Ndungula (19) was run over by a Toyota 4x4 bakkie. |
