Two people were injured during the incident, in which employees and customers were held at gunpoint, Police reported. A 24-year-old man, Curtis Kavela, was shot in the left arm, while 30-year-old Michael Manguuni was stabbed in the head and chest with a screwdriver. The robbers made off with N$6 615 and fired three shots before fleeing the scene. They are still at large, the Police say, and the money has not been recovered. * Also in the Oshikoto Region, two female bartenders at the MN Sport Bar at Oshivelo were held at gunpoint on Wednesday and robbed of N$2 000 in cash. The two robbers, whose identities are not known, were armed with rifles and one fired a shot at the window of the bar before they fled the scene. |
