The women have been identified as Rachel (23) and Amalia Heita (24). They reportedly tried to cross the road when they were hit by a Toyota Hilux bakkie. Both were taken to the Oshakati State Hospital, and their condition is reported to be stable. Police are investigating charges of reckless and negligent driving. * At Oshikoto, Mike Mengo (27) died on Tuesday after shooting himself in the chest. * A day earlier, on Monday, 18-year-old Immanuel Ipawa from Oshana shot and killed himself with a shotgun in his room. |
