Sesfontein to feel the power

OPUWO - Sesfontein village in the Kunene Region will finally get electricity next year.

NamPower's Manager of Electrification, Karl-Heinz Wagner, made the announcement at a meeting with regional councillors in Opuwo on Thursday.

Wagner said a power line to Sesfontein would be built from early February and the village would be connected to the national power grid by July.

The cost of the project is estimated at N$11 million, and will be funded by the European Investment Bank.
