In their daily crime bulletin yesterday, the Police indicated that the suspects held bar attendant Jacobine Muaamuknage at gunpoint, robbed her of a mobile telephone, some bottles of liquor and N$2 000 in cash. They reportedly demanded money from the time they entered the shebeen. The crime took place at about 22h00. The culprits are still at large and Police investigations continue. * Elia Shikongo is reportedly fighting for his life at a Windhoek Hospital after Abraham Katongolo allegedly shot him several times in the body and neck this past weekend. The two men allegedly became embroiled in a heated fight prior to the alleged shooting. Katangolo has been arrested and he is now helping the Police to complete their investigation. The shooting happened at about 15h49 at Peneyambeko Shikongo Street in Katutura's Babylon squatters camp. * Police at Narraville report that three armed men held up the J15 Park Shop on Sunday night. They made off with cash and goods valued at N$900. They were driving a Toyota Conquest, N 16698 WB, and are still on the run. - Nampa-Own Reporter |
