A Matter of Fact

CONFUSION arose in yesterday's report under the headline 'Top prisons officials arrested for fraud', because of the fact that two different suspects, both named Martin, were charged with fraud, bribery and uttering in two unrelated cases on August 18 and 19.

This led to the wrong Martin being named in yesterday's report.

It should not have been Joseph Martin, but Assistant Commissioner Nelzin Martin, who was arrested and granted bail of N$20 000.

We apologise for the error.
