Believe In Your Leaders

ALLOW me space in your newspaper, The Namibian, to express my point of view concerning some Namibian people.

I am a politician and a member of the ruling party (Swapo).

I am not against the churches or the religious leaders, but there are some churches and religious leaders who are misleading their members not to put more trust in the government as they think that their country is not run by the will of the people.

They never expect their government to be responsible for solving their most pressing national problems.

The most worrying problems in Namibia are Aids, job creation and poverty.

The churches must work together with the government and regional councillors because now there are strong feelings here and there.

Because now some church leaders and church members feel frustrated by the government and politicians.

We all know which political party rules and will continue to rule and the Bible said respect your leaders.

Most of our leaders are politicians and we must respect them because it is useless to say you believe in God but you do not respect your leaders.
