Finance Issues Drag On

I AM a teacher in northern Namibia and would like to ask the Finance Ministry to get their act together (with no disrespect meant).

Honestly writing (or speaking), as other people have already stated, "money makes the world go round".

My problem with our Finance Ministry is that there seems to be no collaboration between the highest level and the subordinates, nor is there discipline in the subordinates, neither is there supervision by the highest level in the Ministry.

I am saying or writing this because most of the time people are complaining about not getting their bonuses, about over-deductions and the list goes on.

As I am writing now, I am yet to get my bonus payment for last year.

I have complained about this on several occasions but in vain.

The so-called finance officers based in Windhoek have proven to be incompetent.

They are just there as receptionists, coffee makers, story tellers or whatever title you may give to them.

Their work leaves a lot to be desired.

Part of the reason why they are incompetent is the absence of strict supervision from the top level management.

The Ministry should get their/its act together.

How would the Finance Minister (Saara Kuungongelwa-Amadhila) feel if she did not get her bonus payment on time? I am looking forward to a prompt solution.
