I myself as a student of the Polytechnic of Namibia will defend our institution against such unnecessary accusations made by some Swapo topofficials because such issues are challenging to critical thinkers.

If I'm not mistaken, the Polytechnic's English department set up an examination question paper with an article about the Zimbabwean President.

The students were apparently asked to respond to the article by applying their critical thinking skills.

As critical thinkers, we are urged to respond to such issues and problems by reasoning in a logical and intellectual way so as to solve issues in our tests and exams, so if politicians are doing wrong things, we as students have the right tosee these wrong actions and respond to them in a critical way.

I'm not saying the Polytechnic ask students to criticise politicians,so people should stop making unnecessary accusations against big institutions that prepare students in technology and development of this country.

Polytechnic of Namibia is one of the biggest technological institution in southern Africa, so if these people (they know who they are) do not understand what critical thinking is all about, then they shouldn't jump to conclusions without thinking of how they respond.
