I would like to draw the attention of the Minister to the fact that when he was deported from Cape Town to Namibia in 1958 by the South African apartheid regime, he was met in Windhoek old location by the following gentlemen: The late Chief Clemens Kapuuo, Mr Levy Nganjone, The late Mr David Meroro and Rev B.G. Karuaeara.

Minister ya Toivo stayed at my mother's house for three weeks.

Hildegard Kapuuo, the sister of the late Chief Clemens Kapuuo.

My mother and I prepared his food provided by my grandfather from his general trading store in the old location.

In fact, my mother and I also washed and ironed his clothes in case the Minister has forgotten that part of his story.

Is it possible that he has forgotten this valuable information regarding people who were there when he needed them? In my humble opinion, it is a deliberate attempt to dissasociate himself with the name of Kapuuo for obvious political reasons.

Furthermore, I read the booklet from cover to cover without a single mention of the names of many of our dedicated Namibian sons he spent many years with in Cape Town with the exception of the late Jacob Kuhangua.

For your information and that of the public I am not a newcomer to the politics of the Namibian liberation struggle.

I started as a child to prepare food and tea for the members of the Herero Chiefs Council of the late Chief Hosea Kutako.

All the confidential records of the council were preserved at my mothers house, including those relating to the arrival and meeting of the Rev. Michael Scott in Windhoek in 1946.

That opportunity enabled me to know all those who were associated with the Herero Chiefs Council namely; Ngezemba, Honga, Kamunguma, Kaunazondunge, President Sam Nujoma, Kapeua, Hoveka, Paul Helmut, Kambanderu, Kandjou, Kanguatjivi, Nathaniel Maxuilili, Simon Mpongoshe, Karuaihe, Louis Nelengane, Kamaka Riruako, Muirambihu, Levi Nganjone,Kahengava, Kauzunda, Kaevarua, Bethold Himumuine, Kandetu Nakaambo, Rev BG Karuaera, etc.

The list is very long.

We must always remember that when we write our history, we are trying to bequeath valuable records to our future generations.

At least President Nujoma on his return from exile paid my mother a visit before she died.

He even mentioned my name in his biography.
