Tribute To Frankie Fredericks

ALLOW me a space in your respected newspaper to firstly congratulate our one and only greatest sprinter ever to emerge from the land of the brave after such an impressive run in the 200m where he lost to the triple Americans.

Frank Fredericks has done so much for this country throughout world championships and Olympics games that people should at least be proud of what he has achieved so far for this country even though he was unlucky to come back home without a single medal but at least he has done so much and he is one of the most respected athletes of all time.

Fredericks have put our country on the international map when no other sprinter could do that, so the Namibian people should respect his decision to retire because it's now high time for younger athletes to take over from Frank.

Fredericks will remain Namibia's fastest man until somebody else breaks his record , so let's just wait and see who that will be!
