Three kids killed in fire accidents

POLICE are investigating the deaths of three young children who died in separate fires over the weekend.

At Ondangwa's Onethindi settlement five-month-old Natangwe Junias burnt to death in a room believed to have been set alight by a burning candle.

The incident occurred at about 20h00 on Saturday.

On Friday, at the Ekuku village in the Okankolo constituency, four-year-old Johannes Johannes also burnt to death.

The hut in which he was sleeping caught fire, but the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

At Windhoek's Ombili settlement, one-year-old Eva Kakunamufuki burnt to death when a pan on a stove allegedly set the shack on fire.

The incident occurred at the Ehafo Bottle Store on Friday.
