We know the ‘Turntable King’ for the magic he brings from behind-the-scenes productions of some of the biggest songs or behind the decks. This time around, KBoz teamed up with KP Illest and Fiston for a smoothly delivered collaboration oozing Afro-soul with contemporary flair courtesy of slick rhymes from KP Illest. While it hasn’t instantly gone viral since it dropped, this is definitely a song that will grow on you.

Teaming up with her husband D-Naff and Zambian gospel sensation TY2, Lady Dyna comes through with a house production for her latest single. Lady Dyna shows off her versatility on this track, moving away from her usual to experiment with a sound that’s big at the moment but still keeping to her strong gospel roots with religious lyrics. The song is already proving to be quite popular, garnering over 4 000 downloads in only a week on namibiamusic.com. Produced by Kidman, the mixing and mastering was done by Lucas Bikedo (Ogopainc).

Coolstyle, who is working on his latest album, just dropped two singles off the latest project. One of the singles, ‘Kolokoto’, is is a reggae-infused song that has the singer getting in touch with his sentimental side – musing on love, love lost and the heartache that comes from losing a loved one. While the vocals are not particularly impressive, the mixing and mastering saves Coolstyle on the song that’s just bearable.

Multi-talented singer songwriter Micheal Pulse went up tempo for his latest collaboration with Australian producer and performer Adrian Swish. With the pair meeting online, Pulse had the opportunity to send Swish some material which he loved, and the song is mainly written by Pulse. The R&B medley has a world class feel and is definitely worth a listen. Get ‘Bye Bye’ on Spotify, Deezer, iTunes and Google Play, amongst other sites.

On a beat produced by KBoz, Mabuzza will get you on your feet with this club banger. ‘Ngoa (Get Down)’ is a house/kwaito track that’s very original to Namibia’s version of the South African sound. While he’s very new on the scene, Mabuzza is an artist to watch out for. ‘Ngoa (Get Down)’ is available for download and streaming on namibiamusic.com.
