UN expert says more than 150 killed in DR Congo mutiny"I would not dispute the figure of 150. I think that is a minimum figure that you can take," Asma Jahangir, the UN's special rapporteur on extrajudicial killings, told reporters after a five-day fact-finding mission to the country that ended last Friday. "These killings were done, I believe, by the authorities of RCD-Goma," she added, referring to the Rwandan-backed Congolese Rally for Democracy (RCD), which also controls Kisangani. - |
