State of Nation address today

PRESIDENT Sam Nujoma is today scheduled to make his annual State of the Nation address in Parliament at 14h30.

Nujoma is expected to take stock of how Government is faring, and outline future policies.

The President is also expected to answer questions from the floor after his address.

The Namibian Constitution requires the President to attend Parliament each year during the consideration of the official State Budget.
