Masinga signed by CoventryLONDON - Coventry City have signed South Africa striker Phil Masinga, the English first division club said yesterday. Masinga, who has agreed a two-year contract, will join from Italian club Bari on a free transfer if he passes a medical at Highfield Road today. Masinga played with Coventry manager Gordon Strachan when the pair were at Leeds United during the 1990s. "Gordon knows the player very well... he is an excellent signing for us," Bryan Richardson, the Coventry chairman, told the club's web site.
