Local Sport Shorts -Soccer panel discussion

THE NBC will screen a live panel discussion on the decline of the Brave Warriors and the future of the local league on its Intersport programme at 20h30 tonight.

The president of the Namibia Football Association, Petrus Damaseb and other local football administrators will be on the panel, while members of the public are invited to phone in and air their questions.

'Quick' Kaperu to fight

NAMIBIAN junior featherweight professional boxer Siegfried 'Quick' Kaperu will start his second professional fight in Johannesburg, South Africa today.

Kaperu, who won his first fight on a second round knock-out, faces South Africa's Leon Duncan, who has won three of his four professional fights.
