Black Africa's goals were scored by Sylvanus Njambari and Ebsom Gariseb, while Sputla Mosiane and Paulus Shipanga scored for Blue Waters. On Sunday Black Africa beat a Rehoboth invitation team 4-1. In another friendly on Saturday Ramblers beat Orlando Pirates 2-0. Ramblers' goals were scored by Jomo Kheiseb and his brother Costa Kheiseb. Ramblers leading Old Boys RAMBLERS are leading the Old Boys League, which has reached the halfway stage. In matches last week Ramblers beat SKW 1-0, Civics beat Young Ones 3-1 and Windhoek Internazionale beat DTS 7-1. Ramblers currently lead the log with 10 points from four matches, followed by SKW on 10 from five matches, Windhoek Internazionale on eight from five matches and Civics on six points from four matches. Bobby Samaria of Internazionale is the leading goalscorer with 11 goals, followed by Joseph Martin on nine, Lucky Richter on five and Rudolph Campbell on four. Kuppe wins bronze HELLA Kuppe won a bronze medal after coming third in the women's 80m hurdles at the World Veteran Athletics Championships in Brisbane, Australia. Kuppe also came fourth in the long jump, fourth in the triple-jump and fourth in the high jump events. |
