Nauseb on trial in Norway

BRAVE Warriors and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Robert Nauseb has left for Norway for trials with Lillestrom FC and other clubs in that country.

The Kickoff website reports that Nauseb, whose contract with Chiefs expires on July 30, will be on trial for at least three weeks.

The controversial midfielder, who has been blamed for the resignation of Ted Dumitru as coach of the Brave Warriors, will be a free agent once his contract expires and therefore Chiefs want to have him signed before that time to claim a transfer fee.

Nauseb is one of seven players who were put on transfer by the Kaizer Chiefs management at the end of the last soccer season.

Should he succeed to get a contract with Lillestrom or any other Norwegian club, Nauseb will be partly re-united with distant cousin and former Kaizer Chiefs teammate Mohammed Ouseb who plays for Lyn Oslo in Norway.

Besides the Scandinavian countries, it is reported that other South African clubs like Santos of Cape Town have also shown an interest in acquiring Nauseb's services.
