Thursday, January 25, 2001 - Web posted at 9:20:53 AM GMT Local Sport Shorts - NBC to screen Algeria match A spokesperson of the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation yesterday announced that Namibia's World Cup qualifying soccer match against Algeria will be televised live from Algiers tomorrow. The match is scheduled to start at 16h30 Namibian time. Khomas Region AGMALL affiliated members of the Windhoek Premium Lager Khomas League are invited to attend the region's annual general meeting on Saturday, January 27. The meeting will start at 09h00 at the NBL Customer Care Centre opposite the Katutura Community Hall. The following clubs must send three representatives each to the meeting:Africa Russup, Arcadia, Charlo Eleven, Strangers, Windhoek Prison, Bombani, Falcon, Zambezi United, African Wizards, Terrible Fire, Rambo Rangers, Young Lions, Eleven Stars, Unam and Windhoek Rovers. Calling Bee Bob Brothers BEE Bob Brothers from Mariental, who will be playing in the Windhoek Lager Premier League for the first time this year, will hold their first training session on Monday, January 29 at 17h30 at the new soccer stadium in Mariental. All registered players as well as new players who would like to join the club are invited to attend.
