Four-year-old girl raped at Keetmans
CONRAD ANGULA

THE Keetmanshoop Police are still searching for a man suspected of raping a four-year-old girl at TransNamib House at Keetmanshoop on Monday.

According to Sergeant James Matengu, the suspect is well known to the victim's family.

"In fact", he said, "the man is apparently a member of the family."

"Matengu added that the two were alone at home when the incident happened as the suspect was looking after the victim.

Meanwhile, Keetmanshoop Police have arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with the rape of a 36-year-old woman at the farm Habus between 23h00 and 24h00 on Sunday."

"The victim was sleeping alone in her house when the suspect broke in and forced her to have sex with him against her will," Sergeant Matengu told The Namibian yesterday.
