Cattle to be vaccinated

CATTLE in the four 'O' regions in the North will be vaccinated against cattle diseases in a campaign scheduled to start on March 5, Ondangwa-based State Veterinarian Dr Tina Musilika, has announced.

Musilika said cattle would be injected against lung sickness and foot and mouth disease."

"We want all farmers to co-operate during this vaccination campaign," said Musilika.

In addition, dogs would be vaccinated against rabies, she said.

Musilika said further information on the campaign would be sent to schools, churches, cuca shops and headmen in the regions.
